For those of you who took our survey, thanks! It made me realize the purpose of this blog was lost. So, here's to getting back on track as I show you what it’s like to live with a gamer!

  • I hear random noises and shouts at the TV as he plays intense boss battles. “No. No. NO!” “Oof.” “Gah!”

  • Video game music is now on our shared iPod. I now have to prepare myself for car rides entirely made of this music, some of which I like. Others, I do not so much.

  • Themes from his favorite video games are now in my repertoire. I have caught myself dancing to some of them. Cue Gerudo Valley!

  • Christmases and birthdays are easy. I just have to get anything video game related.

This was our first Christmas as a couple,. The Pikmin plush and game were his favorite presents!

  • An entire new world of terminology has opened up for me. “These stupid AI’s in this FPS are in the way.” “You just got pwned, FTW!” “Want to play this JPRG that has a lot of tank characters?”

  • Our video game collection is just as extensive as our movie collection.

The movies are on the left, video games on the right. Not to mention the consoles, cords, and controllers...

  • Any news about the video game industry is a part of our daily and weekly conversations.

  • We have a small pile of Halloween costumes available year-round.

This is my last minute Sonic costume for this year. It pays to have video game hats!

  • The view of my husband is the back, and I love it.

  • Memorabilia is not junk or toys. They are unique and special collector’s items.

This is just a small sample of his collection. The "You Fill My Hearts" picture was made by yours truly!

  • Facts that I now know are a part of my life. Link is NOT Zelda. The Other M had possibly one of the worst stories ever. Video games do not automatically give a person violent tendencies. Better graphics do not mean a better game. And the most important one of all...

A GAMER DOES NOT LOVE YOU LESS JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES VIDEO GAMES TOO!

See you all next week!
