I do apoligize for not posting in so long. I just don't have a lot of confidence in my writing anymore. It's very bland. However, we do have an important annoucement to make.
A lot of you may already know about our exciting news. We will be parents by the end of the summer! It came as quite the shock since I was told it would be hard to have children naturally due to an acne medication I was taking.

We found out on Thanksgiving. I was sick with a nasty cold, my chest was sore, and I was a few days late. I put that all together and took a test. Positive! I was dumbfounded and showed The Gamer. We looked at each other and laughed like two idiots for a few minutes. We didn’t sleep much that night, which was bad for The Gamer since he had to work Black Friday.
December was not fun. I was sick and ornery all the time. I finally told my co-workers at around 8 weeks because they had never seen a grumpy, impatient Michelle. The bad attitude hasn’t really changed at work. I’m tired of cleaning and being up on my feet all the time. Everyone I know at work has been very nice and lets me take breaks when I need to. Hallelujah. When I can’t bend anymore, that’s when I’ll probably down and out forever.
About a week and half ago, we went to our first doctor’s appointment. The ultrasound made it feel more real. I was all, “Oh look! An actual baby is inside me!” The Gamer was excited to see the baby too. He kept asking if what he was seeing was the baby. The nurse kind of got impatient with him because she also had to check some other things. The baby is healthy and the heartbeat is strong! We met our doctor and we have a good feeling about him. Everything is slowly falling into place.
I’m close to fifteen weeks now and the nausea has died down. I only feel sick when I haven’t eaten or I feel dehydrated. The constant craving that I’ve had is fruit, all the time. Right now, the main fruit I crave is strawberries. I can’t have chocolate because the baby thinks it’s disgusting or something. Rude. I also have a constant desire for Garden Salsa Sun Chips.
We are thrilled to start adding on to our family. I have a tiny, visible bump now which makes it feel even more real. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. We can’t wait for our Player 3 to arrive on July 26th!
