Hello lovely followers! We're going to have to postpone the second part of Our Top Picks for 2015. Some of the games that we were going to talk about don't have a lot of information on them yet.

Some of you may have caught Nintendo Direct yesterday. Here's what we have to say about it.

Fire Emblem (3DS): The first Nintendo Direct of 2015 kicked off with a bang as it announced a new Fire Emblem game! For those of you who don’t know much about this series, it’s heavily based on strategy and RPG. The Gamer was quite excited when he realized what was going on. A new game system will be interesting as well since every decision you make will have a bigger impact. I’ll probably just watch The Gamer play this one.

Puzzle & Dragons Z and Super Mario Bros. Edition (3DS): While the puzzle concept is nothing out of the ordinary, the RPG addition is a nice touch since I feel there is a big push for new ways to invent the genre. I couldn’t help but feel like it was an app I could get on my phone though.

Wii U Update: The Gamer was very pleased to hear that system will have a better Wii and Wii U compatibility. Wii games can be accessed on the Wii U menu instead of going into Wii mode. Hooray for brilliant people who make us lazier!

Amiibo: I want Ike, Shulk and Lucina. The Gamer wants Megaman and Pacman. That is all.

Hyrule Warriors: The Gamer busted up laughing when Tingle appeared on the screen. Young Link was awesome when he transformed with the mask. As if The Gamer wasn’t excited enough, he did a little sitting dance when Nintendo announced the new adventure map and three new character costumes .

Xenoblade Chronicles X: We talked about this a little bit in our last post. It was nice to get some more of the story since I was kind of winging it in the last post. The first image of the world of Mira appeared on the screen, and The Gamer was practically drooling. The world looks huge and beautiful, just like Xenoblade Chronicles. After seeing this, we are definitely buying it!

Blek (Nintendo eShop): I never heard of it until this video. It looks like a lot of fun. As the video mentioned, it has been critically acclaimed by the gaming and art world alike. I kind of want to try it out myself.

Citizens of Earth (3DS): The Gamer has been interested in this one for a while. He said it looks like a lot of fun since he thinks it has an Earthbound feel to it. Who doesn’t love a classic JRPG, right? I like how there’s 40 characters to interact with. Whoot!

Fossil Fighters Frontier (3DS): Ok, I just wanted to tell you all that I love how you can dig up fossils and put them together. It’s my childhood dream come true. The battle system is fine; I just want to dig up dinosaur bones!

New Nintendo 3DS XL: The Gamer was excited about the face tracking. I like it, but the 3DS family is getting crazy. It’s a money grab, honestly. The Amiibo compatibility and C stick is an interesting concept.

Majora’s Mask 3D: The skin for the 3DS looked stunning. The Gamer’s eyes glowed. We learned that the Majora Mask skin for the 3Ds is already sold out and people are reselling them for double and triple their value. Holy. Moly.

There’s what we have to say about this Nintendo Direct. Let us all set our calendars for February 13th! What do you guys have to say about it? What are you most excited for? Let us know in comments. See you all next week!
